I selected Caring Transitions and John Milkay to move some furniture from my mother’s Independent Living Apartment at Danberry at Inverness to my home. She will be moving to Assisted Living in coming weeks, and she needs to downsize. Caring Transitions was on Danberry’s referral list, their reviews were good, and they were available when I needed them. John came to the apartment a few minutes ahead of the movers to make sure everything was ready. He remained there with me to manage the entire move to the end at my home. The movers were prompt, professional and, most importantly, took great care with my mother’s furniture. I will be moving soon myself and have already booked my move with Caring Transitions. Highly recommend!

Communication was smooth and they delivered my items to me even though it was slightly inconvenient for them. Only downside is that I would have appreciated if the more fragile items (floor lamp and curio cabinet) were wrapped at all, especially since I paid $250 to have the items delivered. My floor lamp had a chip in it that wasn't there in the images of the item when I purchased it, so i'm assuming that it got chipped during delivery which could have been avoided it the fixture had any kind of wrapping at all, and my curio cabinet had a tiny chunk of wood missing that also seems to have come from delivery. All in all, the delivery people were nice and Phillip was nice.

I cannot say enough about Brad and his crew who came in and help me get my folks home ready to sell. They came in and sorted through 30 years of my parents stuff and sorted everything out in a very efficient and effective manner. They found money throughout the house and made sure I received every penny they came across as well as making sure I was getting all important personal documents for my parents. I could not have gotten my parents house ready to sell for them without this kind and compassionate company. I am forever grateful for Brad and his crew helping me during this time. HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND this group for taking the stress and getting this project done quickly and efficiently. Thanks Caring Transitions.

Robert and his team are great!! Friendly and efficient. My mom recently passed and left a house full of massive furniture and enough serving dishes to have Europe over. There was also a bit of trash and junk in the garage, leftover from when were stranded here by the hurricane. Not an easy time for me and I didn't know what to do, each piece of her furniture weighed as much as a car (it would've cost me a fortune to have them moved). They cleared out all the junk and sold most of her things. The garage is clear, the massive furniture is gone, and we made a little money. Robert and his team made a horrible situation much better.

WOW! Absolutely recommended! Wade and Shannon were wonderful beyond words! Excellent communication, compassion and a willingness to go above and beyond made a very difficult transition so much easier. I couldn't recommend them and their lovely staff more highly. This was my first time bidding online. Philip and his team was awesome!! The pickup was easy and my items were packed extremely well. I will definitely look for future sales.
